OUR STORY
Honor the threshold.
The porch is the last threshold in a home that still belongs to everyone. You cross it coming and going. Your neighbors read it without meaning to. It’s the first thing that greets you when the day is done, and the last thing you pass on your way into it.
And it’s the thing we forget.
We tend the rooms guests see and the corners we photograph. But the porch, the one place the whole street shares, we leave to whatever it was last season. A life this fast rarely leaves room to notice.
Fiddle & Flutter exists to change what happens at that threshold. Four times a year, we design your porch to meet the season you’re actually in (sourced, composed, and set in place by hand) so that coming home stops you for a moment, before the door even opens.
We do this across Williamson County (Franklin, Brentwood, Thompson’s Station, and the streets around them) because it’s the kind of place worth doing it for. Communities where neighbors still know each other, where a beautifully kept porch is quietly understood, and where the seasons are still something people mark rather than let pass.
Because we believe a season is worth marking. That the turn into fall, or the first real warmth after a long winter, deserves more than going unremarked at your own front door. Beauty at the entrance to a home isn’t decoration. It’s a quiet way of saying the days matter, and someone noticed.
The first hummingbird back at the feeder. A fiddle tune carrying from somewhere down the street. The small, living things that tell you exactly what season you’re standing in. We gather them at your door.
There are too few moments in this life that ask us to slow down. We build a few more, right where you live, right as the season turns.
